Originally from the Mediterranean region, Punica granatum provides yummy flesh-coated seeds for direct eating or juices. I've looked into planting the tree in our garden, but is too cold in Maryland for the tree to bear fruit. Instead I decided to paint an open fruit; it has a unique and beautiful texture!
"Pomegranate (Ready to Eat)" is a 6" x 16" x 1.5" acrylic on canvas painting. Painted, including the sides, on gallery-wrapped canvas - enjoy with a frame or unframed! Shipping to the lower 48 states only, 9% shipping fee applies.
