It's the first day of October, and we are nearing the end of an incredibly fruitful gardening season (pun intended - we've been overrun with peaches for months!). Our days are filled with harvesting and processing the last of the peppers, tomatoes, herbs, and now the start of fall harvesting of lettuce, spinach, bok choy and the like. The exciting large 24x36" large format project that I started a couple of months ago had to be put on the back burner, and instead I made some small artworks like painted notebooks and greeting cards this weekend. Stay tuned for the large painting; I will keep working on it over the next weekends and it will showcase more Y3 Ultramarine Blue!

Es ist der erste Oktobertag, und wir nähern uns dem Ende einer unglaublich frucht-baren Gartensaison (Wortspiel beabsichtigt – wir werden seit Monaten von Pfirsichen überschwemmt!). Unsere Tage sind gefüllt mit der Ernte und Verarbeitung der letzten Paprika, Tomaten und Kräuter, und jetzt beginnt im Herbst die Ernte von Salat, Spinat, Bok Choi und Ähnlichem. Das interessante großformatige 70x95cm Projekt, das ich vor ein paar Monaten begonnen hatte, musste auf Eis gelegt werden, und stattdessen habe ich dieses Wochenende ein paar kleine Kunstwerke wie bemalte Notizbücher und Grußkarten angefertigt. Seid gespannt auf das große Gemälde, ich werde daran an den nächsten Wochenenden weiterarbeiten, und es wird viel Y3 Ultramarineblau zeigen!
